Mennorode, 13 - 15 April 2012
The weekend committee has reviewed the weekend and given the positive feedback from many guests, we may conclude that it has been a successful weekend. The Mennorode Commission is already busy for the next edition.
We invite you to sign up for the 29th weekend of the Origami Society in Mennorode, Elspeet.
Special guest
Our special guest this year will be Rikki Donachie.
He came into contact with origami at a very young age, but only later he actually started designing his own models.
If you're interested in his work, have a look at his website: www.itsjustabitofpaper.com
Rikki will be present the entire convention and will give several folding workshops.
Packages
2011/11/26 All rooms are fully booked for the Friday packages. If you contact us we might be able to help you. Saturday package is still available
As you know, Mennorode has a limited number of 1 pers.-room and more 2 pers.-rooms. For the rooms is the rule: first come, first served. The Friday Package is coming before Saturday package. Once the one-person rooms are full you will be placed with someone in the room. Always in agreement! Repayment follows afterwards.
Friday package: Included: 2 nights, 2x breakfast, 2x lunch, 2x dinner, coffee/tea at regular intervals and 3 free workshops. Arrival before 18.00h (dinner time).
- Single room (VRD1): € 230,00 (fully booked)
- Double room (VRD2): € 220,00 per person. (fully booked)
Saturday package: Included: 1 night, 1 dinner, 1 breakfast, 2x lunch coffee/tea at regular intervals and 3 free workshops. Arrival before 11.00h Saturday morning.
- Single room (ZAD1): € 170,00
- Double room (ZAD2): € 160,00 per person.
For everyone: the third workshop is converted into 3 make-and-take sessions with card ideas.
At other times than above drinks, coffee and tea are for your own account.
Exhibition and paper
We also have an exhibition. It would be nice if, like last weekend, a lot of people get involved, so that others may enjoy what we all like to make.
Also, the various paper suppliers agreed to come, so that there is an opportunity for your paper replenishment.
Fourth Mennorode Origami ATC Swap
The past three years we have organized an ATC swap. These were a great success. This year, the ATC swap is also a part of the weekend program. If you want to participate, please contact Meike van Stigt (moatcs [at] hotmail [dot] com) as soon as possible but in any case before 1 February 2012.
This year's theme is: “Celebrate love (with a folded heart)”.
Note: there is a limit of 50 participants.

Registration
Changed payment
As you may have noticed, the price did not increase this year. Well we use a different method of payment. With registration you pay at least € 30.00. If this amount is received, then the registration is confirmed. The remaining amount must be payed before February 1.

Note: on the PayPal website (www.paypal.com) you can change the region or the language in the top right, below the search box to a language you are more familiar with.
European guests can use the IBAN and BIC codes below to pay using a European payment with shared costs (SHA).

Cancellations received before 1 February 2012 are subject to a refund minus € 30.00. After this time we can not refund, unfortunately. We encourage you to take a cancellation insurance. Registrations after 1 March 2012, (may be) possible but only after telephone consultation.
